Most companies that offer wood kits only go back to the late 40s trucks.

We go all the way back to the 20s. Model T, Model A, early Ford, Chevy, even the stuff most people won’t touch.

If it rolled off a factory floor with a wood bed, we’ve got the dimensions for it. Doesn’t matter how old it is.

Your truck’s been around this long. The bed in it should be built the same way.

We went back and reworked every piece of hardware in the kit. Better materials, better coating, just built to last longer and hold up better over time.

No big announcement, no callout. Just a quieter upgrade that makes everything a little better where it counts.

It’s the kind of detail you don’t think about now, but you’ll appreciate years down the road when it still looks right.

Every customer call ends up in the same place, walnut or oak.

Walnut gives you that darker, tighter grain look that feels more refined. Oak is lighter, more traditional, and closer to what these trucks originally had.

Both are American hardwood. Both get the same finish. Both are built to last.

It just comes down to what fits your truck.

Most people don’t realize how many options there actually are. We’re not just talking oak. Over 20 different species, including exotics you’ve probably never seen in a truck bed. Same fit, same finish, same durability, just a completely different look depending on what you choose. If you’re building something that stands out, this is where you start.

Happiness is receiving "finished" photos from a happy customer.

This 1972 C10 owner added a Bed Wood kit to his truck and the results do the talking.

What are you working on this weekend?

We threw out a full batch of boards last month. Not because they were bad, but because they weren’t right. Most people would’ve shipped them without a second thought.

We start with the highest grade hardwood you can get, and even then, not every piece makes the cut. If it doesn’t meet our standard, it doesn’t go in the box. Simple as that.

That’s the part nobody sees. The boards that don’t ship are the reason the ones you get look the way they do.

This ’56 F100 has been in the same family for three generations. The original bed didn’t make it, the one in it now will.

Trucks like this aren’t just builds, they mean something. So it has to be right. We’ve got the dimensions for F100s going back decades, every change, every detail accounted for.

This one’s been around for years, and it’s not going anywhere. The bed shouldn’t either.

Black walnut kit on the shop floor, mocked up and ready to go in a 1970 GMC. Pre-cut, pre-drilled, finished. The most time-consuming part of install day is moving it from the floor to the bed without somebody asking, "What wood is that?!"

The usual BedWood customer would not be putting their custom truck through the paces of an autocross, but this 1966 Dodge D100's far from average. Its patina paint was earned, just like the truck running through the cones like they owed it money.

This truck, affectionately known as "Bed," was built by Scot McMillan at Scot Rods Garage completely out of leftover parts lying around the shop. The doors, fenders, hood, etc, all left over parts. The BedWood is all different woods along with the strips. So, whether you're redoing complete original from top to bottom or building a truck from spare parts, Bed Wood is still the only choice.

The BedWood isn't a show-only part, so if you build it right, it goes where you go.
