Western Kentucky Performance

Western Kentucky Performance will be temporarily pausing the intake of new projects to allow completion of several muscle car projects currently underway. We will still be scheduling routine maintenance work such as oil changes, tires, and diagnostic work. During this pause, we will be adding projects to our scheduling board and will tackle them on a first come first serve basis. We are doing this to allow focused attention to our current project workload and will provide the same level of attention to your project. We THANK YOU for your dedication and patience and look forward to hearing from you and to serving you. Our hours are Monday through Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm. Our telephone number is 270-886-5803. If you reach our answering service, please leave a message to receive a return call.

Good Morning! Our staff is back to work today from a week of service to Kanakuk Kamps. Serving over 1000 Christian children and young adults for a week really resets your outlook. We thank each and every one of you for your dedication and patience with us. We have a TON of phone messages to return today and each one will get a return call. We pray each of you has a blessed day and hope to speak with you soon!

Due to an overwhelming volume of requests, we have started a waiting list for certain types of work. Engine replacements, timing chain replacements, cam swaps, muscle car repairs, transmission rebuilds, etc will go on this list and will be called as that spot opens up. Normal repair work (Brakes, Oil changes, AC service, etc) will go on as normal. Please contact us with your needs and we will schedule you accordingly. This list will not open for more additions until the second week of August. We currently have a major rebuild on a Corvette that needs to go to paint that is a major focus now. We take great pride in what we do and making sure your vehicle is repaired with excellence. Thank you for your trust in us and your patience while your vehicle is getting the attention it deserves. We wish each of you a blessed day and look forward to hearing from you!

If you work outside this week, be careful and stay hydrated. We will be adjusting our workload and hours to work with the heat. We will be working on muscle car projects inside. We will be here and phones will be on. We hope each of you have a blessed day!

Most people neglect transmission service then think it will be something simple when it fails. This customer had it scanned at his local parts store and they told him it was a shift solenoid. Disassembly shows why it had ALL Neutrals.

When a friend that knows cars does your brakes. It didn't need both brake pads...one will do.

We will be open today. We will open at 10 to allow extra time for people to navigate the roads. Be careful out there and we wish all of you a blessed week.

PSA: We toured some of the local roads today and they are still terrible. Our access road hasn't seen any attention and most of the roads in the county are going to refreeze now that the sun is down. We will remain closed tomorrow as it is not safe for our customers at this time. We will be manning the phones so feel free to call and schedule work for when the ice is gone. Be safe and stay warm!

The best mechanics aren’t the fastest. They’re the ones who don’t see the same car twice for the same issue.
