Dear supporters,
Hey, what's up everyone? I hope you're all enjoying this holiday season. I know it's been a while since anyone has heard from me. I finally was able to retrieve my account, smh. I really appreciate the few that reached out to me to check on me. It means more than you know. I just want to take this time to clear up some of the rumors I've heard and questions I've been asked. Yes, I'm still very much alive, lol. Yes, I'm still in N.Y., lol. No, I am not locked up, lol. Yes, I am no longer in the Wappingers location. I haven't been there since June. Yes, there is another detailer that moved in there. No, I am not affiliated with him at all. I don't know him personally.
Some of you may remember that I had a major back surgery in February 2023. I'll be very honest, it hasn't been easy since. I was closed for some time. I tried to open back up, but it was very difficult, especially by myself. I am still very limited with what I can do. Yes, I'm a lot better than I was before surgery, but I'm definitely not back to normal and probably never will be, since I'm 50% with permanent damage. I'm not as fast as I was because I need to take my breaks. I have to watch the way I move. I used to bang out multiple cars a day, but now it can be multiple days a car. So, it's been extremely difficult to be profitable. Unfortunately, it has put me in a hole that has been impossible to get out of. You can only imagine the debt that got accumulated with no money coming in and not being able to work the way I need to. On top of a few personal family issues that set me back even more. The best decision was for me to leave the shop in Wappingers and start my life over from scratch when I was able.
Almost three years later, I am still dealing with issues between doctors, lawyers, and insurance companies. They all recommend me to find a new career. Like that is so easy. They don't think the physical part of detailing is good for me. My heart is in detailing. I love what I do. I love being trusted with people's most prized possessions. I love seeing the transformation of a vehicle. I love being a business owner. I love my clients and the friendships I've built with complete strangers. I miss a lot of you. I'm not giving up, I never will. I will still provide you quality work, just might take me a little longer lol. I never did a GoFundMe or anything like that, like some suggested. I'm a hustler and will bust my butt to get to where I want to be. I truly am grateful for those who have helped me, especially those who knew I needed it and knew I wouldn't ask. I appreciate those who stuck with me through this time.
I know starting over is going to be hard, but life has never been easy and I'm always up for a challenge. I built this business from nothing, in my parents' garage, to what it was. I know I will do it again.
Now, with the holiday season approaching, I just want to remind you that gift cards are available. I have huge discounts for all my loyal clients and will also be offering $50 off on every gift card, $100 off on every paint correction, $250 off on ceramic coating, and $500 off on any paint protection film. These offers will go till the end of the year to try and recoup my losses. My loss will be your gain.
Again, I truly am grateful for all of you that support my dream, and I really look forward to working with you again. I wish you a very Merry Christmas, happy holidays, and a happy new year. God bless you all.
