The bracket debuts in this page is meant to aid in ventilating the cabin of the SUV, while its parked and the engine off. Although I had personally driven with the rear window ajar without any effects, the decision is totally up to the operator. Always exercise prudent judgement, like not leaving the rear window ajar in rainy days, and not idle the engine with the window ajar inside a structure. This is meant to be an accessory to aid in venting the hot cabin while its parked.

The window bracket is formed using T6063 aluminum and comes in 5 different colors. Cost of each bracket is $14.95 plus shipping within the USA. Bracket attaches to the back window latch using a 5mm allen wrench. The arm swings up when not in use and will not interfere with OEM latch operation.
