Northeast Towing Service was established in the late 1940's by Ken Burdick, known as Burdicks Auto. Ken worked with us until his death in June of 1995. We moved the business from Willow Ave. to the Brook Rd (also known as Goat Hill Drive) in November 1996, where we continue our business. We provide professional towing and recovery service for light auto through heavy duty trucks. We also provide r

oad service for jump starts, lockouts, and tire changes. Our shop provides full service we have three full time mechanics to help with everything from inspections to complete elctronics diagnostics and we also offer powertrain component replacement. Our skilled mechanics also install remanufactured engines and transmissions that we sell. You can also purchase powertrain components, transmissions and engines. Northeast Towing also sells new and rebuilt starters and alternators or we can rebuild your own.

One of our most recent projects completed, last fall we bought this F450 from a borough in southern NJ with a engine issue. Knowing that the truck only had 38k miles we took our chances and bought the truck and determined the misfire to be a bad lifter. To remove the lifters on most modern vehicles the cylinder head has to be removed. So while we had the cab off for engine work we painted the cab our color, and also prepped and painted the chassis and dump box. Once back together we coated the frame and underside of cab to help prolong the effects of living in the rust belt. In the end we have added another piece of equipment to help with accident cleanup at a fraction of the cost of new. For anything accident/recovery related we can handle any situation. 570-253-1050

Exciting news for our followers and customers, we are pleased to announce we got home late last night all the way from Denver, Colorado with our newest addition. Some may consider it a “barn find” with only 28k miles on a pre-emission Peterbilt rotator that we purchased from the original owner. This was the first rotator in the state of Colorado back in 2005. Now it will be the first rotator in Honesdale and surrounding area. With 60TON capacity, this truck will greatly expand our ability to service our customers and police departments we work with. We are very excited in the expansion of our heavy duty side of towing and recovery.
