For several years we have had a small wooden bowl of "cross pennies" We've given away thousands of them and we aren't the only business' doing that. I have seen the same little wooden bowls in Hondo, Bandera and other towns. It has always been a great little way to keep Christ in our minds. How many times are you having a bad day to pick up your keys and see that simple penny on your keychain that reminds you that you're not alone?
That being said... As you all know the government has quit stamping pennies recently so the couple of guys that are stamping these can no longer buy pennies from the bank anymore. We told Roy that we'll keep him supplied with pennies as long as we can. This is where we could use your help. We are collecting old pennies at the shop and taking them to Roy in Bandera when we fill the jars. I thank you in advance for any donation to Roy's cause.

PENNY DRIVE! As most of you know, for the last several years, we have kept a small bowl of cross pennies/crosses on our counter for customers to grab. This morning we visited with our friend who makes these pennies and he can no longer purchase them from the bank. We decided we would start collecting pennies to take him! We will have jar set up at Dixon Automotive for anyone who’d like to drop of pennies to keep Roy busy making these wonder cross pennies!!!
