My neighbor recently returned home after being away for over two years, now facing life as a double amputee and requiring dialysis three times a week. He’s on the kidney transplant waiting list and just underwent another surgery due to infection. When he finally made it back home, he was met with even more challenges—a broken furnace and no running water because the pipes had frozen and burst.
I’ve been working pro bono to restore his water service, repairing lines, valves, and fixtures. I’m currently working on the laundry tub faucet, kitchen faucet, pressure reducing valve, and toilets. However, his hot water tank is completely burst, and I simply can’t cover the cost of replacing it myself.
He has reached out to many sources for help but hasn’t received any assistance so far. I don’t have a lot myself, but I can’t stand by and watch someone go through this alone. All funds raised will go directly toward purchasing the parts needed for the hot water tank installation and anything else required to fully restore his water service.
Thank you so much for any support you can provide—every little bit helps, and your kindness will make a real difference in his life. Please like, comment, and share this post so more people can see and donate to this important cause.
