To all our valued customers We would like to inform everyone about storm damage repairs!

As result of the July 27th, 2026, storms occurred within the surrounding area. We want to advise all our valued customers that this may result in a rarely seen scheduling issue. In the past, storms like this have resulted in such an extensive number of vehicles being damaged that it may take a substantial amount of time to get back within a regular schedule. Many of the preliminary inspections/estimates by the insurance companies will be multiplying in repair cost and length of repair time. Insurance company supplemental damage approval delays and manufacturer replacement part back orders become more regular. This issue can create unavoidable delays in both the repair process and scheduling. Severity of the loss may require repairs to be scheduled further into the future than wanted. In some cases, it is possible that we may require you to pick your vehicle back up and schedule the repair process for a later date pending insurance approvals and parts availability. Please know we will make every effort to avoid this situation, but this may be necessary to avoid lengthy repair delays and car rental costs.

Hail damage repair Paintless dent repair (PDR) is an industry-recognized repair process that involves the removal of hail dents or other types of damage from metal exterior surface panels without disturbing the vehicle's finish. In most cases, this procedure involves the use of specialized tools to apply pressure to the backside of the panel to remove surface imperfections. Other techniques may be used to repair damage from the top side of the panel, depending on the size and location of the damage. We find that most vehicles damaged by this storm require a combination of PDR and conventional type repair procedures.

Hail damage repair costs can range from a few hundred to thousands of dollars. Insurance typically covers vehicle hail damage repair, so check your policy and deductible to determine if it's in your best interest protecting your investment to file a claim.

How to spot hail damage on a car Any vehicle left outdoors during a storm is susceptible to damage. It's often obvious, but at times, spotting damage may require close examination. Large or small dents in the hood, doors, side panels or trunk; these dings typically aren't uniform, may not damage the paint and may not cover the entire vehicle

Chipped, cracked or broken windshield, windows or mirrors
Doors or side mirrors that are stuck or jammed

Such a great weekend at the Goodguys Rod & Custom Association Columbus we love meeting new people and other shops that share the passion and love for classic cars and trucks like we do and seeing old friends that we made over the years! Our 1968 C-10 won the truck of the year late finalists and was asked to be in the classic truck performance magazine and 1955 chevy won the tri-5 pick!
