Right now out in the Owyhee mountains with the large number of fire crew personnel in and out on a daily basis, off-road can sometimes still get a little TOO off-road. When that happens, you definitely want to make sure you have the right amount of crew, equipment, and coordination to get everything recovered as safely as possible! Steve and the crew did an excellent job on Sunday with getting this tipped water tender out of this spot and back into town.

While we're not able to work the front line, like many of you we want to help out any way we can. Sometimes we don't have enough tow trucks to go around and find creative ways to get it done. Like this one at 3:00 AM 300 miles from home loading a small car in a trailer to get her where she needs to go.
