This one here will be one for the books for sure. Customer came in with a rod knock. What better way to replace the block than with an upgraded one so we got a hand built piston and rod block by our good friend over at Solosubie Solution. Huge shout out to him for helping us in a pinch. So while we had the engine apart we upgraded a few things and got this car feeling amazing. With M-Tuned behind the keys we able to see respectable numbers from the stock turbo on e85:

We recently undertook an important and essential project for a client, addressing the notorious DOD/AFM lifter failure in their 2016 Silverado. We were able to identify the issue before the camshaft damage compromised the oil pump, avoiding catastrophic engine failure. Our solution involved installing a DOD/AFM delete cam, LS7 lifters, and conducting a comprehensive engine refresh. This ensured the vehicle's optimal performance, eliminating the need for 4-cylinder mode and restoring full V8 power.
Following the installation, we performed in-house calibrations using HP Tuners to resolve drivability issues related to the stock transmission, resulting in a 110% improvement in overall performance.

We got this customers WRX all wrapped up this past week making really good numbers on e60. The ETS FMIC helped big Time keeping the intake manifold temps down compared to the old TMIC set up. We got a full set of brembo brakes paint matched and installed with stoptech lines and pads. We also fixed the wiring mess that was going on with the headlight and horns. And finished everything off with some nice Cobb engine bay dress up pieces.

Over at Past Curfew Racing we get to work on some interesting things but this is by far the “BIGGEST” yet. 2002 winnebago brave in for front ac refresh and an upper radiator hose replacement. Our current project in the shop. 2002 ford ranger 4.0 with 300k miles in for originally in for timing kit replacement is now in for head gaskets. Upon tear down we discovered the head gaskets had been seeping coolant. So while we have the engine out to save the customer money down the road we will be doing a full top end rebuild on this 300k mile Ranger.
