I’m surprised Cody knew were to begin with this coolant leak. Just about every part of the coolant system was leaking & from the looks of things had been for quite some time. The owner was lucky this didn’t turn into a catastrophic engine failure. Coolant leaks in a BMW can’t be patched or ignored, the leaks will only continue to get worse. It may be the first day of fall, but here in Florida that doesn’t apply 🥵

It’s still hot and AC systems are working overtime. ❄️ This car came in with a leaking evaporator. BMW buries it deep inside the HVAC housing against the firewall. We have to pull the center console, steering column, crash bar, and the entire dashboard to get to it. It’s 12-20+ hours of painstaking interior disassembly & reassembly & this is the 1st of 3 this week.
