The NHRA debut of the Christmas Tree was at the 1963 Nationals, as seen in the pic. Note there are no staging bulbs, as those were first seen at the 1964 Winternationals, though they were on the ground then and were not tree toppers. The five-amber Tree was chopped to three ambers in 1986.
