🚗 GOING INTO STORAGE OR COMING OUT? A DETAIL MAKES A DIFFERENCE!

Today at Soaking Wet Detail, we had two vehicles in for two different reasons. One was getting ready to go into storage, while the other was coming out!

🔴 GOING INTO STORAGE?

Getting your vehicle detailed before putting it away is more important than you might think! Removing loose debris, food crumbs, and other contaminants from the interior can help prevent unwanted furry little visitors from making themselves at home during the winter months.

🔴 COMING OUT OF STORAGE?

A fresh detail is a great way to get your vehicle back on the road! Depending on how and where it's stored, dust, debris, unwanted odors, and even rodents can become an issue.

Today's Nissan had experienced a little rodent activity while in storage. We were able to address the affected areas, replace the cabin air filter, and perform an ozone treatment to help eliminate unwanted odors.

We also completed a Mini Detail Package on the BMW, getting it cleaned up and ready for storage!

Unfortunately, we didn't get exterior pictures of the Nissan, but both customers were extremely happy with the results!

Today we had another vehicle in for our Mini Detail Package, and we added an ozone treatment to help tackle those unwanted smells hiding inside the vehicle.

Our ozone treatment is a great add-on when you're dealing with lingering odors from things like food, pets, smoke, or just everyday use. Instead of simply covering up odors with fragrances, ozone helps neutralize odor-causing compounds throughout the interior.

💦 TODAY’S MINI DETAIL + FABRIC COATING! 💦

Today’s vehicle came in for our Mini Detail Package, along with our fabric ceramic coating on the convertible top.

Check out those hydrophobic properties! 👀💧 Notice how the water beads up and holds together on the surface instead of immediately soaking into the fabric. That surface tension is exactly what we want to see from a properly applied protective coating.

But a ceramic coating is only as good as the prep underneath it.

We always follow the proper cleaning, prep, and installation procedures to make sure the surface is ready and the coating can properly bond. You’ll even notice the protective cling wrap around the vehicle during the process—we take the extra precautions to protect surrounding surfaces and do the job right.

Today’s detail was for a repeat customer whose Corvette we detailed last week. He was so impressed with the results that he came back and brought us his Jeep Cherokee for some much-needed TLC!

Along with the detail, we performed a trim restoration to bring that faded exterior trim back to life.
