6.4 Powerstrokes have became a bit of our specialty over the years. As we’ll know they were a short production run engine only used in the F-Series trucks for 2008-2010. Which can leave a bit of issue for parts. One major component that suffers from this is the K16 injection pump. Most company’s that reman these pumps re-use the valves, and as long as they pass a bench test they send them out the door. The two valves on the pump are a pressure valve, and a volume valve. While they pass a bench test they often fail when installed on the truck. Sometimes leading people to have to replace these pumps 3 plus times before they get one with decent valve’s. And as the owner the truck that can be very costly having to change multiple pumps.
Fortunately we have a solution, we have new valves for sale. These are OEM replacements. They are not a upgrade per say but they new valves and work just like they should when these trucks rolled off the lot during production years.
