We haven’t posted too much in months and I’m about to tell you why. This is gonna be long but I feel like I need to tell you all this, cause many customers been in and not see me and ask what’s going on. I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer on Jan 2025 . Of course that news changed our lives immediately to say the least. As many people know what it’s like to deal with this horrible disease.
Thru all the surgery’s / chemo / hospital stays/ and all the other treatments I’ve been thru and still doing due to what damage the chemo has done to my body. I’m thankful I’ve gotten this far and hopeful I’ll will continue to do so and it’s all because of God is good and prayer works !
I’m also blessed & thankful for all my family that has been there for me (especially my children) which they put their daily life’s on hold to attend to me.Ive been blessed that I have a amazing Dr. and he told me upfront we gonna fight this all the way thru I’m here with you. I can’t say enough about him.. here’s an example I don’t believe there’s many people that can say my doctor called to check on me while he was on his vacation in another country ? I love & trust him completely.
Not last one to Thank but my husband Russell has never left my side since we received the news of cancer. He has held me and wiped my tears of pain many times and at same time whispered encouragement words in my ear. I will tell you if it hadn’t been for him I would have given up months ago . I’m forever grateful to God for placing him my life when he did.
To our customers there’s no words I could ever say to you that could possibly be enough you’ve come by our shop to pray/ sent gift baskets/ cards / flowers/ phone calls & texts to check on me and ask what can they do to help, we even had a few that even offered to do my job at the shop so I’m very grateful to you all . Hope to be back at work soon and thank each of you in person you have trually touched my heart.❤️
