Another 6.0 Powerstroke straightened out and ready for years of reliability. This one got our brand new in house O-ringed cylinder heads, ARP head studs and inner row bolts, new oil cooler, updated STC fitting, all new updated pushrods, and Dieselsite upgraded standpipes and dummy plugs. It also got some new S&B silicone body mounts to replace the old disintegrated rubber ones. When we take a 6.0 apart this far, it gets nothing but the best parts where it matters most to keep you and your truck on the road for longer 💪

At North Star Diesel, 6.0 Power Strokes are one of our specialties.

This 2003 F-250 came in with a failed high-pressure oil pump. Rather than replacing it with another stock pump, we're installing a DieselSite Adrenaline HPOP—a proven upgrade that offers improved reliability over the factory design.

Temps are on the rise and spring is right around the corner — a great time to get your truck serviced.

Cold winter driving often means your engine doesnt reach full operating temperature which can lead to moisture buildup in the oil and fuel system, so a fresh service helps keep everything running clean and protected.

We use quality Dynaplex oil and Fleetguard filters to keep your truck in tip-top shape. We stock filters for your big rigs as well as filters for your Cummins, Duramax, and Powerstroke. We have plenty of openings so stop in or give us a call 👍

We’ve decided to offer a product of our own!

We’re partnering with a trusted machine shop to offer brand new cylinder heads for your 6.0 Powerstroke. These are brand new castings with the following work/modifications:

-O-rings for improved cylinder sealing
-Deck surface machined to the proper RA (roughness average) for the best possible seal using MLS headgaskets
-Complete valve job with steeper seat angles for improved flow
-Stainless steel valve seats

These heads are meant to be a one and done fix for headgasket issues on your 6.0. Your old original heads are prone to cracking and often times can’t be reused without serious machine work. We’re offering these heads for $1799.99. A fair bit cheaper than some of the other brands out there but with the same if not better machine work done by our own trusted machine shop.

These heads are currently going to be on a made to order basis. Lead time is roughly two weeks.

Whether you’re working on your own truck, or your truck is in our shop for a headgasket issue.. These cylinder heads will keep your engine sealed and performing at the top of its game without breaking the bank!

Already today we’ve had two diesel trucks towed in gelled up from the cold.

Not all “winter blends” are up to the task in extreme temps. Even running #1 diesel isn’t a guarantee by itself — proper high-quality fuel treatment is critical to keep fuel flowing and filters from plugging. The temperature rating on the pump isnt something you want to rely on.

Being prepared beforehand is critical. If you do end up gelled up and need a tow, our shop can get you thawed out and back on the road.
