We've all done it.....turned on some tunes, filled a bucket with dish soap and water, thrown some rags in, and went to town "washing" our car. But did you know that is the perfect recipe for vehicle paint damage? Dish soap actually breaks down protective wax and your vehicle's clear coat and leaves your paint vulnerable and can ultimately decrease the value of your vehicle. It is incredibly harsh on your vehicle! You should always use a car shampoo and afterwards apply a protective wax. But there's more to it than that!
