This might be the most well known set of twins in Hilo. Lol

Perry and Derry Murata have been brothers and best friends all their lives.

Listening to their stories of how our little town of Hilo has evolved is very intriguing.

One upgraded from a 2wd and the other upgraded from a Tacoma.

Both are now owners of brand new Nissan Frontiers!

A few months ago, one of my very best friends passed away from COVID.

There hasn’t been a day that goes by that I don’t think about him.

Today, his son, Cole, came in and wanted to trade in his Acura for a new SUV.

It was really great to spend the time with him because I only spent time with him in the past if his dad was around.

It brought him back in a small way.

I’m especially glad that we could help Cole into a new car that would help him and his family.

Congratulations Cole, it was great hanging out today. Your father is proud of the man you’ve become.

This family stopped by to browse the dealership while their daughter was at gymnastics.

They noticed the Nissan Leaf and stopped by it.

I shared with them all the things I’ve learned about the electric vehicle industry and where it was going.

The next day, they call me and ask if they can take it for a cruise.

A short time after they took it for a drive, this happened. 😊

Al drove all the way from Kona for Big Red.

When they arrived, his wife saw a sold sign in it and was totally bummed!

Little did she know, Al already called ahead of time and the sold sign had their last name on it. 😂

She was too shy for a picture but Al was more than happy to oblige after locking down the prized truck on our lot.

Congratulation to the Farrar family on your beautiful new ride.
