🐷 Hog Day Vendor Update 🐷
Hello vendors and future vendors,
First, we want to say thank you for the overwhelming interest in being part of this year's Hog Day festival. We are incredibly excited for this year's event and appreciate everyone who has already reached out to ask to participate.
As many of you know, on March 29th, we asked interested vendors to message our page so we could add you to our vendor interest list. At this time, vendor applications are still not open.
We kindly ask for your patience as our committee navigates several personal and family hardships behind the scenes this year, including health concerns, loss within families, and other life circumstances. Hog Day is organized by people who deeply care about this festival and community, but we are also human beings balancing real-life challenges.
Please know this:
📌 The moment vendor applications open, we will immediately make a public post on this page.
📌 An email will also be sent out to everyone on our vendor interest list.
📌 Vendors on our list will receive advance notice of the exact date applications will go live.
Because of this, there is no need to send repeat messages asking when applications will open. We completely understand the excitement, but multiple follow-up messages each day significantly clog our inbox and create additional work for our volunteer team while we are trying to prepare for the festival.
We promise you will not miss the announcement if you are on our list. Anyone who knows me knows I will move mountains to make things happen for my vendors… especially my return vendors.
🚨 Vendor Announcement:
This year, there will be no tent cooking food service vendors permitted at Hog Day.
🛻 Any vendor preparing or cooking food on-site must operate from a food truck.
⛺️ Vendors selling prepackaged food items may still operate under a tent as usual.
🎨 Our face painter has already been chosen for this year, so unfortunately, we do not need another as they have paid for rights to the entire festival.
🍋 Lemonade vendors are at full capacity with return vendors, so we will not be accepting new lemonade vendors this year.
🧒 👧 We ARE looking for kids activities (not toys) vendors.
