Loaded up and headed out. We will be at camp camp in center point during the day doing shoreline clean up and we will be setup in Ingram with some other service trucks getting equipment cleaned up and tuned up to keep on working. Alright we got the skid steer and grapple bucket reserved huge thank you to Tejas Rentals out of Alvarado for working with us on the machinery. A big shoutout to TBF Adventures for donating an RV for us to rest our heads at night. Thank you everyone who has made any sort of donations to make this all happen. We will be gathering supplies and headed down to center point and hunt Friday to aid in the relief efforts. From what I’m gathering Camp Camp is needing donations of premix fuel, bar and chain oil, chain saw chains in common sizes and possibly electric sharpeners. Along with everything else on this list. If you feel the urge to donate we can arrange for my wife to meet up and pickup before I head out. Thank y’all and pray for the hill country please!

This customer called for his F550 had a low fuel pressure light on. We showed up and checked live data and found the low pressure system had a major restriction. The upper fuel filter looked to be fairly new but we decided to drop the WFS and found the original 89k mile fuel filter almost completely collapsed. We decided to try and change the fuel filters in hopes that it wasn’t too late but unfortunately the dreaded CP4 decided to let go. So this truck got a complete new fuel system and the tank got a new liner put in. Maintenance matters guys! Turns out the people who had been servicing this truck didn’t even know there was a second fuel filter. If your truck has a steel tank there’s a good chance the inside looks like this!

Been a busy few weeks, started out with an oil leak diagnosis on an 871 Cummins. Found the front structure and oil pan leaking. Ironically enough the dipstick had rubbed a hole in the pan. Also found the valve camshaft was toast. This unit got a nice facelift and is back up and running with no more leaks. Give us a shout to get on the schedule we’re booked out about a week right now.

This 6.0L shut down on 67 last week. We arrived at the unit and triaged it and found it had lost all base oil pressure we decided it was best to get it off the side of the road for a proper diagnosis. We went and grabbed a trailer and got it pulled back somewhere safe. Upon further investigation we found the IPR had hung wide open causing it to drain the high pressure oil reservoir and caused the LPOP to lose its prime. Got the IPR off to inspect the screen and found it had pushed off inside the HPOP. This could have easily turned into a LPOP and front structure job if misdiagnosed. We saved this customer ALOT of money from tow bills to proper diagnosis. If you have a HEIU truck don’t trust it with someone who is not familiar with these systems. Give us a call to get on the schedule.

This boat trailer was in dire need of some repair, the front and center cross members were completely rusted out, we got the front cross member patched in there while the boat was still on the trailer so he could haul it safely to the water. While the boat was in the lake we got the new cross members all fabbed up and put in place with fresh carpeted bunks we even put holes in the bottom of the cross members to prevent them from rusting through again. This trailer is ready to go fishing. Give us a holler for any of your truck/trailer repairs.
