Service & Repair Policies & Procedures
To better serve our customers, we wanted to explain how our service and repair process works so everyone knows what to expect when bringing a boat or motor to us.
Service Process Timeline
1. Drop-Off & Inspection
● When your boat or motor is dropped off, we place it in line based on the date it is received.
● We perform a thorough inspection and prepare a detailed written estimate.
2. Inspection Schedule
● Monday, Tuesday, and the first half of Wednesday are dedicated to inspecting boats and motors and preparing estimates.
● As the summer season progresses, the number of repairs increases significantly. To ensure fairness, every boat or motor is handled in order of drop-off date.
3. Estimate Approval
● Once you approve your estimate, we order all necessary parts—typically the same day.
4. Repair Schedule
● Wednesday afternoon, Thursday, and Friday are dedicated to completing approved repairs after all required parts have arrived.
● Repairs are performed in the order boats are received, based on the oldest drop-off date.
Business Hours
● Our shop is closed to the public on Saturdays, Sundays and Monday. Tuesday through Friday after 4:00 p.m.
● Although our doors may be closed, we’re often still working behind the scenes ordering parts, completing repairs, and preparing for the next day’s workload.
We are operating with a limited staff this season, and we sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding.
One thing we will never do is sacrifice quality simply to complete more repairs. We take great pride in our workmanship, and our reputation has been built on doing the job right the first time.
Thank you for your continued support and for trusting us with your boat. We truly appreciate your business and look forward to keeping you on the water.
