๐ฃ Ad wars of the roaring twenties ๐ฃ
In 1926, motor oil companies were fighting hard for your trust โ and your dashboard. Mobiloil told drivers to "make chart your guide," matching exact oil weights to your car. Texaco bet on looks, urging folks to "see it poured" โ clear, golden, and clean-burning. Havoline leaned into power with "the power oil," and Gulf promised it "flows freely at zero," so your car would start on the coldest January morning.
A century later, the ads have changed โ but the goal hasn't: earn your trust, one oil change at a time. That's exactly what we've tried to do since 1926.
