When looking for the one, only and original Precision Diesel, which has been in existence since 1989 look for Precision Diesel Inc. There are a few companies with names very similar to ours (copycats) that have popped up lately and we don't want to be confused with the companies that are advertising with pictures of trucks blowing tons of black smoke and polluting the atmosphere. If we get a truck in that smokes that bad we are going to repair it! It is against federal law to take a vehicle out of emissions specs. and the companies that are doing it are walking a fine line between being in business today and bankrupt from fines tomorrow. That's their decision. We do not do performance upgrades and never will. It harms the rest of the vehicle drivetrain as well as pollutes the air. Black smoke is unburnt fuel and a huge waste of our resources. If you add performance upgrades and it destroys your engine, give us a call, we can rebuild it. Average estimates today for rebuilding any diesel engine is anywhere from$1000.00 to $2000.00 per cylinder
