Congratulations, Amy! Paramount is proud to sponsor Catawba County United Way.

Congratulations - Amy Hedrick is the 2020 winner of the Catawba County United Way Fair Share Donor Car Giveaway.
During the 9th annual event, she won a free car from Paramount Automotive Group in Hickory.
Employees of companies participating in this year’s CCUW campaign who were Fair Share Donors (1 hour pay per month) went into drawings starting in September to be one of ten finalist for a chance to win either a Kia Forte, Hyundai Elantra or Volkswagen Jetta from Paramount Automotive. The drawings were administered by Martin Starnes & Associates, CPAs.
The other finalists received gifts from Martin Starnes & Associates CPAs, Peoples Bank, BB&T/Truist, Russell L. Isenhour CPA, Keith Mackie family, Morphis Law & Mediatioin, Century Furniture/Hickory Chair, Duke Energy and Pepsi-Cola Bottling Co.
Along with giving away a new car, the event helps raise awareness of the impact the United Way has in Catawba County through local programs that address needs in the areas of education, income and health.
Thank You to all of those who helped support the Catawba County United Way's mission of helping those in need this year.

Paramount is a proud supporter of PORCH (People Offering Relief From Community Hunger). PORCH is a Catawba county non-profit food assistance program designed to help needy families with children in areas of greatest need, not presently being adequately served by existing organizations. It is an all-volunteer, grass-roots hunger-relief organization whose mission is to collect and distribute food to assist families living in poverty in the Catawba County community.

This community-wide hunger relief effort has dozens of residents living in several neighborhoods scattered throughout Hickory, NC participating in PORCH's monthly food drives.

PORCH pick-ups occur on the third Tuesday of each month except May. There is no pick-up in May. In order to get involved, leave just one can of food on your porch each month. Contact them at [email protected] or visit them at www.hkyporch.org for more information.

Paramount Automotive would like to thank the Catawba County United Way for all they do in our community. We are proud to continue to support them this year for the 9th Annual CCUW Fair Share Donor Car Giveaway by giving away a new car to one lucky finalist in December. For more than 75 years, donor gifts to the Catawba County United Way have supported community resources that serve struggling families across the county. They are a reliable information source for public assistance benefits and services that you can count on during this crisis.

During this time, the CCUW is providing additional funding to those community partners with the greatest need and who’s clients are being hit the hardest by the COVID-19 outbreak.
