Your refrigerator has groceries. Your freezer has steaks. Your thermostat has a temperature to maintain.

And none of them checked the weather forecast.

Good thing this Generac has a job to do.

Another standby generator installed by Joe’s Generator Shop, ready to automatically take over when the power goes out.

Because Texas weather is going to do whatever Texas weather wants.

We prefer to have a say in what happens at home.

Backup power, without making your backyard look like a power plant.

This Kohler fits right in, which is kind of the point.

Your generator doesn’t need to be the main attraction. It needs to sit outside, stay ready, and handle business when the power goes out.

Quietly minding its business until there’s business to handle.

We dig backup power.

Literally.

A clean generator install starts below the surface. Trenching, electrical, fuel, transfer switch. Every part has a place, and we’re picky about where it goes.

A little dirt today.
A lot less inconvenience later.

A pretty expensive way to keep the ice cream frozen.

And we fully support it.

This Kohler now has one job. Sit there, mind its business, and be ready.

No extension cords across the driveway.
No dragging equipment out of the garage.
No family meeting about which refrigerator deserves electricity.

Utility power takes the day off, the Kohler clocks in.

Texas weather has commitment issues.

Your power supply shouldn’t.

A standby generator sits ready for the moment utility power drops, then automatically takes over to keep your home or business running.

Air conditioning.
Refrigeration.
Lights.
Security.
The things you’d rather keep on.

Texas will keep being Texas.

We’ll handle the generator.

Don’t get left in the dark.

Fresh install. Fresh concrete. Ready for its first shift.

This Generac has one job.

When the house loses power, keep the house running.

A standby generator stays connected to your home and starts automatically when utility power goes down.

You might forget it’s sitting out there.

Right up until you’re glad it is.

The heart of your backup plan lives outside.

A Kohler standby generator stays permanently connected to your home and fueled by natural gas or propane.

Then the process happens on its own.

Utility power goes out.
The transfer switch detects the outage.
Your home disconnects from the grid.
The generator starts.
Your power returns.

When utility power comes back, the system transfers your home back and shuts the generator down.

No cords.
No dragging equipment outside.
No standing in the dark waiting.

Your generator already knows what to do.

Your generator makes the power.

This box makes the decision.

Utility power drops.
The transfer switch responds.
Your generator gets to work.

No searching for cords.
No standing outside with a flashlight.
No wondering what happens next.

Your backup power should know what to do before you do.

When the power goes out, your only job should be noticing the lights stayed on.

On this day, Joe’s Generator Shop honors and remembers the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the heroes who responded.

We remember their courage.
We honor their sacrifice.
We remember the strength and unity our nation showed in the days that followed.

25 years later, we will never forget. 🇺🇸

Waiting for generator?

This is your sign to stop waiting.

When the power goes out, you’ve got two options.

Start making calls.
Or watch your generator start itself.

Your fridge. Your well. Your AC. Your family.
None of it waits for the grid to come back.

Prepare while the lights are still on.
