🏁 WINNER SPOTLIGHT – SINGLES ELITE 🏁

Next up from Diesel Truck Wars…

🏆 Singles Elite Winner: Eric Snow

Class sponsored by TRE Diesel/Melting Pistons Race Parts and JeliBuilt Performance, LLC, with a kicker from Top Notch Glass & Mirror

Singles Elite has always been a class where driver mod really shines.

The rules are simple:
• Single turbo
• No injectables
• Everything else is fair game.

That means your tuning, transmission setup, and overall combination better be dialed in. Knowing your truck and being able to execute is what separates the contenders from the rest.

And if you ask most people, they’ll tell you this class usually favors the big single Cummins crowd…

Well, that might be the talk — but this year a Duramax had something to say about it.

Eric Snow and his single cab Chevy battled through a stacked field of competitors, dealt with the cold track conditions, and along the way even laid down a personal best 6.09 fuel-only pass.

Not a bad way to spend the weekend.

Here’s what Eric had to say:

“Had an awesome time as usual. I love coming down to this event. The atmosphere is second to none. You guys rock as usual.
I’d like to thank everyone involved that makes this event possible. Special thanks to my crew.
Sponsors:
MTKB Racing
FASS
PPE
Exergy
Clap City Diesels
Appreciate everything you guys do to make this event awesome.”

Eric, thanks for the continued support and for putting on a show. The work you’ve put into this truck clearly paid off.

Congrats on the win.

🏁 WINNER SPOTLIGHT – 6.70 INDEX 🏁

Next up from Diesel Truck Wars…

🏆 6.70 Index Winner: Brent Elliott

Sponsored by NRE Performance and Back Bay Diesel, with kickers from TRM Diesel and Powerstroke Performance Repair

If you’ve been around DTW for any amount of time, this name probably sounds familiar.

Brent Elliott and the Dumpster Performance Duramax are no strangers to the 6.70 winner’s circle, and when he shows up to the finals it’s a pretty safe bet that everyone else better be on their game.

This truck continues to prove that the MTKB Racing /Dumpster Performance combo simply works. It’s consistent, it’s dialed in, and it shows every time it hits the track.

Here’s what Brent had to say after the win:

“You can word it how you’d like, but I want to give a huge shoutout to Trent and Buddy for putting on such a big badass event. I’d like to thank Twisted Diesel for the performance 4L80 trans and Mark Broviak at MTKB Racing for the tuning — best damn race on the east coast!”

This truck is a perfect example of what testing and dialing in a setup can do.

And here’s the kicker…

This thing is running a STOCK ENGINE.

Yep. You read that right.

Proof that you don’t always need the wildest setup to be competitive — just a solid combination and the time to get it right.

Congrats to Brent on another strong showing, and we’re sure we’ll see him back in the mix again soon.

More winner spotlights coming soon.

🏁 WINNER SPOTLIGHT – 7.70 INDEX 🏁

Next up from Diesel Truck Wars…

🏆 7.70 Index Winner: Martin “Marty” Marquess
Marty's Diesel Performance

Sponsored by Ho**er Performance Solutions and Harrys Race Engines.

It’s hard to beat a guy that bets on himself… and Marty did exactly that.

Coming into the event, Marty and his crew stepped up looking to sponsor 7.70. When that class was already locked in, they didn’t stop — they picked up E.T. Bracket and threw a serious kicker on 7.70.

Now we know why.

Marty double classed — battling through a stacked 50+ truck E.T. field all the way to the quarterfinals, then turning around and winning 7.70 Index and taking home a stack of cash.

Here’s what Marty had to say:

“DTW 2026 was the 2nd time ever racing this truck on blacktop, the first being DTW 2025 where we took home 2nd in ET. This year I beat myself in ET after winning several races, but we ended up securing the win in 7.70. I used to attend DTW regularly during its first years and I’m glad I came back into it. I would like to thank Ashley Vannoy, Kyle & Erika Bartley, as well as the rest of the people that attended DTW this year with me. From being stolen and totaled in a high-speed chase to winning a class at DTW — what a journey. The truck drives around, quite literally, to get groceries, go to the gym, and to drop the kids off at school. So it is pretty cool to be competitive with it. I’d like to thank Buddy and Chris for starting this event and Trent for picking up where Chris left off, as well as all of the other supporting staff. I could only wish DTW was twice a year again. Win or lose I don’t care, but that trophy this year was bad ass. Keep it up.”

This is exactly what 7.70 Index is about.

Street-driven trucks. Tight racing. Big results.

Daily driver. Grocery getter. School drop-off truck…

…and now a DTW class winner. Rumor even has it he was seen the next morning with his trophy at the breakfast table!

Congrats to Marty and his crew on a big weekend, and a huge thank you to them for their continued support of the event.

More winner spotlights coming soon.

🏁 WINNER SPOTLIGHT – E.T. BRACKET 🏁

Next up from Diesel Truck Wars…

🏆 E.T. Bracket Winner: Hunter Levin

Sponsored by Albemarle Landscapes & Tree Service and Marty's Diesel Performance

If you remember what we said about E.T. Bracket being the most approachable class… this is exactly what we were talking about.

Anyone can win.

And this year proved it again.

Hunter Levin took the win — in the same truck he won with last year.

Not a full-blown race rig.
Not some over-the-top setup.

A tow rig.

Unhooked from the trailer and pulled straight into the lanes.

Here’s what Hunter had to say:

“Thanks man, that’s our second year coming. I won it last year in the same truck. If I had to say something, it would probably be you don’t need a fast truck to win in E.T. racing. I do like coming to the event. I would like to thank Aaron Nelson for coming down and letting me unhook his tow truck to race the class again — I couldn’t have a better teammate. For the day of racing, I would say it went great. I was on the tree all day and the truck was consistent.”

That’s what this class is about.

Consistency. Reaction time. Ex*****on.

Back-to-back wins. Same truck. Same approach.

If that doesn’t prove that anyone can line up and take it home, nothing will.

More winner spotlights coming soon.

🏁 WINNER SPOTLIGHT – DYNO COMPETITION 🏁

Next up from Diesel Truck Wars…

🏆 Dyno Winner: Tim Mikoliczyk

Sponsored by GPA Rentals LLC and Top Notch Glass & Mirror

There was a lot of talk leading up to this one — big horsepower claims, big expectations…

And when it was all said and done?

A GASSER took the top spot.

Tim brought out his Demon 170 that’s got a little added spice, and decided to throw it on the rollers just for fun…

Turns out it was more than worth it.

With help from our sponsors and a kicker from TRE Diesel/Melting Pistons Race Parts , he walked away with a $1,000 payout after laying down a 1252 HP pull.

Not bad for a few minutes on the rollers!

Here’s what Tim had to say:

“What a great day at Diesel Truck Wars! Weather was a little chilly but great for horsepower! We were hoping to make an exhibition pass or two, but with a full track of diesel competitors that wasn’t in the cards. I believe the crowd would have enjoyed seeing us make a pass — maybe next show. So we entered the dyno competition. To my surprise we won with 1252 HP. I’d like to thank Brent Hughes at DTP Racing for his talents tuning, Calvin Boone at CB’s Tire for his support, and last but not least the Diesel Truck Wars staff, vendors, and supporters for putting on such an amazing event!”

So now the question is…

Next year — does a diesel take the crown back at “Diesel” Truck Wars? 👀 Let’s hear what you think in the comments!

🏆 Show & Shine Winner: Ellsworth Spicher — Chesapeake, VA

Ellsworth brought a true one-of-a-kind build to the event, and it did not go unnoticed.

His truck?
A ’58 Chevy body sitting on a 2001 Duramax chassis… with the engine mounted behind the cab.

Different doesn’t even begin to cover it.

This build has been over 10 years in the making, and the attention to detail and uniqueness made it a standout in the CB's Auto Tire And Service CBForged / Axiom Supply Show & Shine.

When asked about the truck and the event, Ellsworth had this to say:

“The Diesel Truck Wars has always been a great, well run event. This was my first show with my ‘58 Chevy truck which has taken me more than 10 years to build. I’ve had some excellent help including my son Jared Rectenbaugh who supported my build and helped me make numerous important decisions throughout the build. Jay Jelich (East Coast Duramax) put together the 600 HP engine package and John Griffith (Griffith Diesel Worx) built the Allison tr**ny. Buddy Calloway helped source the Danville Performance tuning. I met Mark (Danville Performance) on my way back down the return road after making my first pass. A real run down the track will have to wait until I’ve worked out all the bugs in this custom build — including the fuel gauge. I want to thank Curtis Trueblood for helping me out with five gallons of fuel after I ran out just before entering the show. Thanks for the opportunity to bring the truck out — I had a great time and will be back in the future.”

This is exactly what the Show & Shine is about — unique builds, years of work, and a deep passion.

Just one of many standout trucks that made this year’s event what it was.

🏁 POST EVENT RECAP – DIESEL TRUCK WARS 🏁

What a weekend.

Diesel Truck Wars went off without a hitch. A little rain rolled through around midnight the night before, bringing in a cold front that made for a chilly but absolutely beautiful race day.

First and foremost, a huge thank you to the Trueblood family for allowing us to host the event at Northeast Dragway once again. We knew track temps would be a factor, but they pushed through and kept the track in great shape all day long, despite struggling with track temps as ambient temp got down to 34° with the final passes of the night.

Next up — our event sponsors. This event doesn’t happen without you guys:
• Kill Devil Diesel
• Hot Shot's Secret
• MTKB Racing
• Flux Diesel Injection

And lastly, all of you — racers, vendors, and spectators.
Everyone working together made for a smooth, seamless event with very few hiccups. The continued support year after year is what keeps this thing alive.

On the track, the racing delivered.

We saw tight matchups across every class, all the way down to the finals — with multiple passes decided by .00x margins of victory. That’s the kind of racing we’re here for.

The event was full of upsets, surprises, and hard-fought wins… and now it’s time to recognize the ones who got it done:

🏆 Class Winners 🏆
• Outlaw: Jaxon Harrell
• Singles Elite: Eric Snow
• 6.70: Brent Elliott
• 7.70: Martin Marquess
• E.T.: Hunter Levin
• Dyno: Timothy Mikoliczyk
• Show n Shine: Ellsworth Spicher

These guys put in the work and it paid off, taking home their share of nearly $20K in payouts.

We’ll be rolling out winner highlights soon, so stay tuned.
