The window in this vehicle dropped when the customer was driving the car. They could not lift the window with the switch, so they raised it by hand and taped it closed.

Upon removal, we found the lift mechanism came apart and the gear was stripped.

Our customer had us look at the vehicle for a clunking noise when driving over a speed bump. They said it happened after a tow hitch was installed and thought it might have been the hitch that was hitting something.

After putting the vehicle in the air, we didn't find anything out of the ordinary. When we lowered the vehicle, we checked the upper shock mounts and found the mounts were installed incorrectly.

This broken fuel line and evap line caused raw gas to drip on the ground. The plastic clips that hold the fuel lines and brakes lines up against the body tend to collect moisture which causes the lines to rust and deteriorate.

This came in with some knocking sounds when driving. When we raised the vehicle, we couldn't see anything that could be causing any noise, but when took the vehicle off the lift, we saw the front upper shock mounts were worn allowing the shocks to move and hit the body.

An came in on a tow truck because the engine bay had "smoke" coming out of it's when we looked at it, we found the plastic fl**ge for the hose that went from the cylinder head to the thermostat had broken. This is a normal issue for these fl**ges. Since they are made from plastic, the plastic deteriorates and over time will break. BMW doesn't just sell the fl**ge, the entire hose needs to be replaced.

This vehicle came in after an accident for a loud wheel bearing in the rear. The customer told us that after the accident, the vehicle needed an alignment and the repair facility had to replace one of the adjustment bolts, then had trouble aligning it.

When we lifted up the vehicle, we saw one of the reasons why the alignment was difficult. The eccentric is in 2 different places on the same bolt.

2015 came in with lean codes for bank 1 and bank 2. We identified the problem as the PCV allowing unmetered air into the system. Land Rover recently made a kit to replace this diaphragm, instead of replacing the passenger side valve cover assembly. Currently there are no aftermarket kits for this issue.
