Our Story

Our roots began in 1978, when Mark Bredesen, President and Owner of AutoScandia, started his career servicing Volvos in his neighborhood. Mark grew up in the Capitol Hill historic area of Washington, DC, where he began to cultivate a community of trustworthy service.

When his business outgrew his neighborhood, he relocated to the Reston/Herndon area of Northern Virginia. AutoScandia is currently a twelve bay shop servicing thousands of long-term customers housed in a stately brick building just off of Fairfax County Parkway.
