This was a fun one!

We had the honor of bringing our customer Mark’s 26k-mile 2011 STi back from the dead. After suffering a catastrophic engine failure elsewhere, Mark put his trust in us to make it right. 🤝

We started with a Zach at ZF Design 1025 Series short block featuring exceptional machine work, 16 pinned mains, 1/2” head studs with steel inserts, and the case stud upgrade. The engine was assembled in-house to our specifications and paired with a set of brand-new OEM Subaru heads that received the HeadGames Motorworks CNC treatment, loaded with GSC Power-Division valvetrain and Kelford Cams cams.

To tie it all together, the Haltech Elite 2500 ECU ensures it runs just as great as it looks. The result? A reliable setup that runs amazing and puts down a solid 800HP.

It was a privilege to work on AJ’s pristine, 92k-mile 1999 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS.

AJ initially reached out to have the leaking head gaskets replaced, but after discussing the car and his goals, he decided to add a few tasteful modifications along the way.

Upgrades include:
• Wilwood BBK
• 1320 UEL manifold
• HKS catback exhaust
• Koyo radiator

While everything was apart, the engine also received a new oil pump, oil pan, oil pickup, along with new seals and gaskets throughout. He also wanted to tighten up the shifter feel, so we installed a new shifter U-joint and shifter bushings.

Excited to see AJ continue enjoying his incredibly clean 2.5RS.

Over time, on these direct-injected engines, carbon builds up on the intake valves and can lead to rough idle, power loss, and poor throttle response. A proper walnut blast restores airflow and helps bring the FA24 back to running the way it should.

This BMW M6 was towed in with a drivability issue, and we quickly found the culprit: the clutch throwout bearing had failed catastrophically.

We replaced it with a full clutch kit, throwout bearing, and all related components to get it back to 100%. Then, we performed the transmission engagement relearn procedure to ensure it drives perfectly.

Back to the customer and on the road in no time! 🚗💨
