You see this great combination of Audi Q7 towing an Aerovault and wonder what's inside. Are you thinking Audi F1 prototype? Of course not. You're probably thinking it won't fit (it fits perfectly). You're probably thinking Audi would want a tall boxy trailer (well you probably didn't think that because who does?). Audi wants the best tool for the job. The Aerovault... lightweight, high quality materials and construction, great handling (it too has a fully skinned underside), and easily towed with an SUV.

What happens when our metals supplier doesn't mark which aluminum tubes are 6063 T5 or 6061 T1... they drive a $30k+ metals scanner to our facility from out of state to test all the tubes. It worked great and identified the correct number of each type we were delivered. And now we know which is which! Even with this delivery glitch, and horrendous market instability and price increases, our metals supplier has been a great partner with us for years.

The Aerovaults once again pass with flying colors! NATM inspectors always love visiting us as the Aerovaults are of such high quality and easily pass all NHTSA and NATM requirements for trailers. Happy towing everyone and thanks to all the owners who send us and post photos of their Aerovaults (especially with their cars)!

Our monthly orders of materials, parts and supplies have been increasing every month and then our order for aluminum this month went up 20% (in addition to all the previous monthly increases). Aluminum costs are at a historic high (aluminum was not included in the tariffs that were considered illegal so the 50% tariff still stands and now aluminum out of the middle east can't get thru the Straight of Hormuz). But everything has increased in price. And now Fulton, who supplies the high quality jacks we use, has declared bankruptcy. We've purchased all we could find but we'll be through those in a couple of months. We are ringing the bell. Get your Aerovault now!

We’ve updated our BOM (Bill of Materials) and it’s very ugly. Unfortunately we can’t continue with current pricing past this month. We’ve always kept our margins slim and will continue to do so but it means that when costs go up we quickly move into selling Aerovaults at a loss. To not increase prices means we have to close down Aerovault. So for now, prices are increasing.

To help the bottom line, we are also selling a display Aerovault we have stored in FL. Contact us for pricing... before May 1st!

The story on this beautiful Aerovault is that it was stored at a facility near Denver a few years ago. When the owner came back from spending several months in Europe there was 4' of snow and ice on top of his Aerovault. Don't be afraid to store your Aerovaults outside. The results are in! Zack was the "sleeper" today taking 1st place. Devin is again the bride's maid coming in 2nd. Dylan, who took 1st last year came in 3rd. Gayle held a respectable lead in 4th holding off the rest of the pack until Greg snuck in behind her on the last lap and slid by at the checker. Peter declared he was taking the moving chicane award even though he did not come in last.

The car was abuzz driving back to the office as everyone shared coulda woulda stories! Now everyone is gone for the day to enjoy the holidays with family and friends. In the offices not a creature is stirring, not even a mouse.

We had our weekly production meeting here at Aerovault today. The guys are always coming up with ideas for how to build the Aerovaults better, more safely, more efficiently, etc. Today they put forward the idea of cutting the floor and tailgate diamond plate sheets on the plasma cutter vs. by hand.

They calculated it would save a whopping 6 hours per trailer!! After much discussion everyone decided it wasn't the right thing for Aerovault to do. The reason is that we wouldn't be able to make sure we could match up the diamond plate pattern perfectly throughout the floor and tailgate.

It's an attention to detail the guys take pride in building. It's a detail people notice when we have one on display at an event. It's a detail Aerovault owners appreciate.

Our transporters are top notch too and when an Aerovault was delivered to its owner tonight the owner talked the transporter into helping him load his car into his Aerovault for the first time. The transporter sent us these pics and we thought it a great example of how those beautiful diamonds line up!

Had a wonderful time at ZCON (national Datsun/Nissan Z convention) in Nashville this last weekend. A highlight for us was talking to two Aerovault owners. Both tow with Nissan Titans. The newer Titan owner (seen here with his T model) said he normally gets 17.5 mpg with his Titan and when he tows his Aerovault with Z inside he gets 15.5 mpg.

The other owner was on his maiden trip with his Aerovault (an L model). He was over the moon with the experience. His older Titan has 175k miles on it. He gets 15.5 mpg not towing and figured he'd spend about $380 in fuel to get to TN. Towing his Z in his Aerovault he was astonished when he got 14.5 mpg and fuel cost him only $180. He said fuel roundtrip is going to cost less than what he was figuring one-way. We love talking to Aerovault owners!

fyi - we think the best mileage we hear of regularly is with turbo diesel Cayenne's that get 22mpg when towing their Aerovaults.
