Wait, you don’t need a fully enclosed intake box on your Type R to maintain solid IATs? That’s right.

A properly sealed system like our Hybrid Intake is going to perform just as well or even better than the OEM intake in respect to intake temps. Another + is that you’re going to hear induction noise. Something the OEM factory intake and most other intakes on the market can’t say! Look, we all know why we buy intakes for this platform - we want to hear those turbo noises.

That’s why we’ve added the TSP/ARP L15 Turbo Head Stud Kit to the 27WON catalog.

Made specifically for Honda’s L15 turbo engine, this kit replaces the factory head bolts with proper-length ARP2000 head studs designed to provide increased and more consistent clamping force. For those building a higher-output 1.5T or looking to address the OEM head fasteners before pushing further, this is one of those upgrades that pairs naturally with the performance parts we already offer

“Yeah, but is your bigger turbo fun to drive”? Something that 10th Gen 1.5T Civic owners often don’t think about. It’s always “how big of a turbo can I stuff in there?”

After years and years of doing this, we know it’s finding the right balance of size and performance that’s key and that’s where the W1 line of 27WON turbos come in. Fun to drive, plenty of down low power, and a much higher overall power ceiling than the factory unit. It’s not surprising why these are the most popular turbochargers out there for this platform.
