This ole girl gave us a run for our money. This GMC Envoy came in with an odd issue; it would run and drive beautifully, for about an hour. Then it would stall out and crank over but would not start. It is extremely hard to find the root of the problem when the vehicle in question has different symptoms every single time it dies. One cycle it would kill the crank signal, on another it would kill the fuel pump, and another where we had no spark. So, after about 8 hours of true diagnostics and some head scratching we determined the under hood powertrain control module was the source of our issue. It was a bit tough sourcing a replacement component but we got her replaced, programmed in house, and she is ready for another 200k+ miles.

Grinding brakes? Just because the pads look good doesn't always mean you don't have underlying issues. In this case a stuck caliper slide pin caused highly abnormal wear and the rotors were beyond being saved. We replaced the rotors along with a set of pads, then cleaned and greased everything to ensure proper operation. Getting that noise checked out early could be the difference between a $300 estimate or a $900 estimate. When she first came in this '91 Subaru she was bouncing down the road like a ball that belonged to a child who had a gallon of ice cream for breakfast. The Rear Shocks had exited the chat sometime back in the Obama era and the springs were holding on for dear life praying for a winning lotto ticket. We got her all squared away and riding great again after installing new rear shocks and bushings. It took a little discussion with the blow torch but hey, sometimes you just have to force those 30+ year old untouched bolts to do what you want them to! 🤣

When it comes to larger repairs, its crucial to have a passion for speed and precision. This morning, our team quickly removed this transmission without taking out the exhaust, it was a bit tricky but ultimately saved the customer quite a chunk of money. Ordinarily, the exhaust must be removed for this repair, but the rusted exhaust fl**ge bolts made it clear that removal would be impossible without breaking or cutting them off. So we put our heads together and came up with a solution, I love our small team. The new transmission will go in after lunch and dont forget, for all your automotive needs, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Our technician said he's been covered in transmission fluid one too many times, never again 🤣 this fluid dispense/evacuate tool should keep him nice and dry today when he removes this transmission for replacement.
