A great example of why tint removal especially back windshields are priced the way they are and can vary in price. But here at Signature Auto Care, we make sure we do the job right. To get tint and adhesive completely removed and properly cleaned and prepped for new tint we had to…
• steam top layer of tint and peel it off
• steam and peel a second layer of the film off the glass
• remove rear deck appropriately to have access to do this in the bottom and sides of rear windshield
• Use adhesive remover to completely remove remaining adhesive stuck to the glass
• clean, prep glass for new tint to be installed
• ALL while carefully making sure there was no damage to back windshield defrost lines or electronics.
• reinstall rear deck
Looks like a new windshield!

Finished up the week with a couple of window tints! Now time to enjoy the rest of the weekend with friends and family!

We will be closed Monday for Memorial Day and will return to normal business hours Tuesday!

A couple of tints for this Wednesday!

When this car pulled up and they told me they wanted tint I immediately started sweating. I had never done one of these back windshields or any like it. I explained that to customer, but said I would be more than happy to give it a go! We believe it turned out very good! Back windshield challenged me a bit, but was able to stretch the tint and get it laid! 2002 Trans Am 20% tint on all sides and rear. 5% for the sunroof!
