The Silent Engine Killers: The Reality of Counterfeit Parts
​Take a close look at the diesel fuel filters sitting in the drain pan. At first glance, the branding looks spot-on—the FASS Diesel Fuel Systems logo is there, the part numbers (PF-3001 and XWS-3002) are correct, and even the "Extreme Water Separator" mascot looks perfectly replicated.
​But in the automotive and diesel world, looks can be incredibly deceiving.
​Counterfeit parts have become a massive global issue. Knockoff manufacturers have gotten exceptionally good at one thing: copying the packaging and labels to make a fake part look completely identical to an OEM or premium aftermarket component. What they don't copy, however, is the quality, engineering, and safety built into the real thing.

If you are not paying $50.85 for this pair of filters I can almost %100 guaranty they are counterfeit.

Green machine ran a 7.7 @ 90mph yesterday. We discovered the water methanol controller died Friday night. Ran back to the shop and decided to wire the pump to the horn button. Still trying to figure out the nitrous but we keep getting a little faster every time we get out.

We will be out at the racetrack regardless of weather, however we will be playing hooky with the rain. If the track gets too wet we cannot run cars down the strip.
