After a thorough inspection, we discovered the blinker fluid was completely contaminated.

Don't worry—we were able to extract the old fluid and get it ready for a fresh refill. Quality control is important around here.

Happy Friday from the crew at Kolar Tire & Auto. Remember, if anyone asks where to get their blinker fluid changed... you know where to send them.

Disclaimer: Please don't actually ask us to change your blinker fluid. 😉

Your tires are talking... are you listening?

A quick look at your tire can tell you a lot about what's happening with your vehicle:

- Wear in the center? Your tires may be overinflated.
- Wear on both edges? They could be underinflated.
- Wear on one side only? You may need an alignment.

Checking your tread regularly can help improve safety, extend tire life, and save you money by catching problems before they become expensive repairs.

Not sure what your tires are trying to tell you? Stop by any Kolar Tire & Auto location and we'd be happy to take a look!

The elk aren't moving yet.

But you are. 🏔️

July in Montana means one thing for the serious hunters.

Scout now or regret it in September.

And if you're running dirt roads in the Big Belts and Helena National Forest right now

your truck is already working.

Here's what scouting season does to your rig that most people don't think about:

Washboard roads loosen lug nuts.

Rocky two-tracks cut sidewalls.

Steep grades overheat brake fluid.

Dusty logging roads clog your cabin air filter.

Creek crossings push water into wheel bearings.
None of it hurts you immediately.

All of it adds up.

And if you've been hauling gear
or pulled a U-Haul this summer for a move

your truck has been working even harder than you think.

A loaded U-Haul on Montana roads puts real stress on your brakes, bearings, and tires.

We'd know.

We're your local U-Haul dealer too.

Before archery opens September 5
let us check what the summer roads already did.
✅ Tire pressure and sidewall inspection
✅ Brake fluid test
✅ Wheel bearing check
✅ Lug nut torque
✅ 4WD engagement test — before you need it, not during
Scouting season is here.

Archery season is 8 weeks out.

Don't let July miles cost you your September hunt.

Rotate for longer tire life (and keeping your money in your pocket!)

Not all tires wear at the same rate. Your front tires often experience more wear due to steering, braking, and carrying extra weight.

Regular tire rotations help distribute wear evenly across all four tires, helping you get the best performance and value from your investment.

- Helps tires wear more evenly
- Extends overall tire life
- Enhances ride comfort and handling
- Can help improve fuel efficiency (have you seen the fuel prices?!)

Pro Tip: Rotating your tires every 5,000–7,500 miles can help prevent uneven wear and maximize tread life.

A quick tire rotation today can help you avoid replacing tires sooner than necessary.

Keep your vehicle riding smoothly and your tires performing at their best with regular maintenance.

The Kolar Tire & Auto team wishes you a safe summer, smooth roads, and unforgettable adventures wherever your travels take you!

Your brakes are one of the most important safety systems on your vehicle and they often give warning signs before a bigger problem develops.

Watch for these signs:
- Squeaking or squealing when braking
- Grinding noises
- Vibration or shaking in the steering wheel or brake pedal
- Vehicle pulling to one side when braking
- Longer stopping distances

** Ignoring brake issues can lead to rotor damage, reduced stopping power, and more expensive repairs down the road. **

Pro Tip: Having your brakes inspected during regular tire rotations can help catch wear early and keep you safer on the road.

At Kolar Tire & Auto, we can inspect your brake pads, rotors, and overall braking system to make sure everything is stopping as it should.

Don't wait until your brakes are screaming for attention!

Need an inspection? Give us a call or stop by one of our locations.
