Just one of the many perks of renting a car in Denali with Keys to Denali is taking the AK Railroad to Denali from Anchorage, Talkeetna or Fairbanks. These photos were taken from the Wilderness Express Train last week. It was comfortable traveling, beautiful scenery, wonderful meals, a viewing platform, and personal staff all the way. You are able to drive into Denali National Park for 30 miles now until May 20th, weather permitting. It's a nice, more quiet time to go into the Park. We saw ptarmigan, caribou, beautiful scenery and lots of moose on our last trip in a few nights ago.

Starting on May 20th, you need to be on a bus or to drive your rental car into the Park for 14.8 miles, which if called Front Country.

Please call us if you need a rental car in the Denali area. 907-683-1239. We can also book flights, rafting, Fat Truck, Husky Homestead, and railroad tickets throughout the state for you.

Denali Dome Home Bed and Breakfast and Keys to Denali are hiring part-time help. Please respond quickly. Staff can easily walk from the Homestead for 10-15 minutes as we are located on Healy Spur Road. Good starting wages with raises as soon as workers can work independently, bonus and tips. Most staff is needed in the mornings 9-12 or 9am to 1pm. We can work around first job schedules. Looking for "the best" workers for our family businesses. Photo was taken of our new 2024 Expedition at the Alaskan/Canadian border in March.

These photos were taken last night for a beautiful Northern Lights display above our yard. Soon we will see our last night of Northern Lights, and we will start having long, beautiful days. About that time we will start renting cars for the 2025 Season. Please call to reserve rental cars while you are vacationing in the Interior of Alaska.

In four months we rent cars again to clients who are 25 or older, have a valid driver's license, rent with a credit card, not a depot car, and have proof of insurance.

We will meet you at the Denali Depot if you are coming to Denali by train. You return the car to the office in Healy with a full tank of gas. We will tag your luggage, and take you back to the Denali Depot to board your train to Anchorage or Fairbanks. We do not have one-way car rentals. We loan good binoculars, walking poles, bear spray, and coolers as part of the service.

We took a road trip from Jacksonville, FL, and we added this beautiful Ford Edge to our "fleet" at Keys to Denali, Car Rental, for the 2025 season But first...we checked out other options. One was a 1935 Cadillac. The owner in Sydney, Australia, would not part with it. For the second option, "Lady Liberty" came with a wonderful carriage in Central Park in New York City. Again the owners would not agree. Besides we didn't know when we would actually arrive back to Denali with the horse and buggy. It appears the mid-sized SUV was our best choice. We hope to see you this summer in Denali. We have good option rentals for you. Call early to reserve the one just right for you.
