We are looking for a Full Time Shop Helper to assist our technicians with daily tasks around the shop. This includes helping with vehicle repairs, detailing cars after repairs, and keeping the facility clean and organized. This is a great opportunity to learn hands-on experience and to grow within the automotive industry.

It was a pleasure being able to work with our community to help the Gloucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad get this boat ready. We appreciate all of you and all that you do.

It is our pleasure to introduce to the community “Boat 6” that will be housed at Station 6 in Sassafras. This 12’ Jon Boat was donated to us by Keith and Lisa Wood and repainted by Tidewater Collision Center at cost and is equipped with a 9.9hp Suzuki outboard that Friday’s Malise Marine sold and installed at cost. The graphics were developed by Jason’s Sign and Design at cost and affixed by two of our volunteers. Like all of our apparatus, it will be responding to water emergencies throughout our response area and mutual aid as requested. At 12’, it is the perfect size to launch in ponds, Beaverdam Reservoir, and for nearby shorelines of the rivers and creeks surrounding Gloucester. While we’re on the subject of water activities and possible rescues, please remember to always wear a PFD (aka life jacket), watch the weather, have all required safety equipment on board, and stay sober if you’re the vessel operator or not as being in or on the water is fun enough without needing alcohol or other substances.
