Anyone interested in a cruise through CDA this coming Friday night the 7th . It's nothing formal but a few GTR's showing up ,Z cars. It's open so if you're reading this, you and yours are welcome. This was a sports car when I was a kid, not a 911 but still,, I had a couple of these and 944's. By today's standards, a new Camry would destroy this car in every performance category by a long shot. 0-60 is basically next week.This car is just cool 😎. Very nice restoration that had a few items to improve. Such as exhaust.
Fast forward too today ...I found it challenging to acquire Porsche or OE Parts that mimic the 924s, basically a 944 but in a 924 body. I ended up having to modify an actual 944 exhaust and interface to the existing headers. Dansk full stainless muffler and center resonator. Sounds and looks exactly like a 944 now. Kinda cool to the right folks. So hard to find cars even this old nowadays, let alone this nice.

Nik Mitchell's 4age/7afe Frankenstein is one of my favorite projects in the shop currently. Dry sump, and a bunch of very nice bolt ons. This engine was actually built in 2003 by me, it's being freshened but it was like a time capsule. The last person who touched all these parts was me (Arias pistons). Valves are being upgraded, and conversion to shim under bucket. As well a Toyota Atlantic valve cover which entailed indexing the cam caps to the cover. A Quasi gidle, with full perimeter bolts all built into the cover. Should look and perform great.

Paid some attention to the wanna be vr4. Valve cover gaskets turned into painting both covers and the upper intake.
