"Please Read This"
The Funeral for Nicky Hayden will begin at 12:00 Monday at St. Stephen Cathedral 601 Locust St. 42301
Owensboro, Ky

The route will start on Locust St. Then 4th st. Down Frederica to Parrish Ave. Out to Hwy.56

The procession lead by the bikes will es**rt the family once Mass has completed around 1:15 pm. We will line Locust St. with bikes and riders until the street has been filled. Then we will coral the rest of the riders at 401 West 4th st. In the Fishers Auto Parts lots formally Gipe Auto Parts. We ask riders to arrive around 10:30 to 11:00 we are expecting a huge turnout so this will give us time for bike staging if needed.

Parents with Kids. - Arrive around 11:30 at the earliest that should be fine. Keep in mind the parking downtown is suspect at times so give yourself time for that. We will line them on the sidewalks of 4th st. Around Federica St. Bring signs and Flags Nicky Bobby had a favorite saying "Grip it and Rip it!"

Dirtbikes, Flat Trackers, Racebikes, Atv,and Sport Utilities will also be on Frederica st.
Bicycle Riders - We ask your Clubs to line up on Frederica St. also. I don't want to leave you guys and gals out. Nicky loved his Roadbikes.

We are well on our way to showing the World what "The Kentucky Kid" meant to the OWB community and the motorcycling community.

Those of you coming from out of town I will address everyone at the Cemetary after services on local places you can rest and fill your bellys.

Thanks once again to everyone who has called and told me awesome stories and left so many cool messages.

The Motorcycle procession for Nicky Hayden will take place Monday, 5/29/2017. 12:00 pm

Riders will need to be at the Fisher Auto Parts parking lots at 10:30. We are expecting a lot of riders. So this will give us time to get organized.

Dirtbikes, Flat Trackers, and Racebikes will not be allowed to follow the procession. We ask you to still show up and line the streets. We will line you up on West 4th Street.

What about the Kids: Parents that wish to take part in the memorial we would love to see the kids decked out in their gear holding their helmets next to their rides or just standing there. We will line them down the side of West 4th.St.

Those of you who do not ride we would also love to have your support along West 4th St. And Frederica St.

The riders will es**rt Nicky to his final resting place and once services have completed riders will be released. I have been asked to line Locust St. on both sides of the street. Once we fill that area we will then coral everyone else at the Fisher Auto parts lots.

Lets make this one last "Grip it and Rip it" moment for one of the Motorcycling Worlds best Ambassadors.

Sincerely,
Mike McFadden
