Continuation from the last post. So I found more crappy work. I guess this is where they had to pry the fuel rail out. They dinged up the sealing surface. Probably still sealed good but not the way to leave it when you mess it up. Not sure how it as been working but also the injector wiring harness had a bare wire I could see then in wrapped it and found the smashed wires. Bought a new gm harness to repair that.

This one is ready to go. Rebuilt torque tube, triple flush and filter on the transmission,new tensioner and belt, spark plugs, fixed driver seat issue, relearned TPMs locations and new side marker light. We do it all. Ended up washing engine bay as well just because.

A little work getting done for a new customer but long term room mater and partner in life.

On a serious not it is sad when you pay folks to work on your personal vehicles that the quality just sucks. I am replacing all the injectors this go around. I had paid a local shop to do just one or two back before working on sports cars. What I am finding is broken plug bracket where they clip on. Push in wire looms not pushed back in the holes. This is all laziness. The thought of breaking a plug bracket just to make it easier to get to is awful . We just replaced a motor in a Yukon for a customer and I dare anyone to go behind us and find where short cuts were taken. I never want someone to go behind me and say "what type of mechanic did this".
