This is what happens when a local shop does a torque tube job on a c6 z06 corvette and does it wrong. All six bolts in prop shaft where loose. One of them fell out and was getting wedged between tube and carbon fiber prop shaft. Only has maybe 500 mile on it since it was done in August of 2015. Damaged torque tube housing, caning fiber prop shaft. We are replacing all bearings as well just because they have taken a hit with the bolt loose. Replacing the complete assembly. Food for thought.

Up next is this beautiful C6 Z06 with a nice little whine to it. Manual trans is getting pulled and sent back to RPM for a complete rebuild. We will also be doing a few small maintenance things to it as well. As we do all customer cars we wrap them in a protective plastic film.
