✅If you moved, please be sure to update your address with former employers & any state agencies to receive 1099G, 1099NEC, W2 in a timely manner to file

✅If you have misplaced social security cards, request for replacements now and put them In a safe place. If you had a new baby make sure you receive all documents

❌EVERYBODY needs to try to get an IRS account. You can do the alternate route by getting a code in the mail It takes a while but it’ll be there before tax time & You’ll be able to See your transcripts , get your IP PIN electronically and so much more.

✅KEEP TABS ON ALL MONEY RECEIVED FROM THE GOVERNMENT and share all of this information with your preparer. It’s imperative to file an accurate return!!

A client came to me after being told there was no reason to file because they didn’t have dependents. I educated them on why filing still matters, prepared the return, and they walked away with almost a $700 federal refund! 💰

No dependents does NOT automatically mean no refund. Know your options before you leave money on the table.

One of the many reasons most people are surprised during tax season is because they are not completing their W4s & State forms correctly at work or updating!! Reviewing your HR Forms is key to getting the best tax filing results especially if you have had life changes such as:

✅Had a baby
✅Took on a dependent
✅Death of a dependent or spouse
✅Income has increased or decreased

If your dependents keeps getting claimed by the other parent or a family member, even though you took care of them all year round, you need to go ahead and get them a IDENTITY Protection Pin (IP PIN) ‼️‼️‼️‼️

Please don’t wait until tax season and when you try to file and your return is rejected because they been filed already‼️‼️‼️
