We are happy to announce that Dewey's Auto Body Lights kicked off the 2025 Christmas season tonight. The show can be viewed every night from 5pm to 12am through January 11th. The show begins at the top of the hour and runs for 1hr. We hope you enjoy our modifications for this year.

Guess what time it is?!? Time for our 5th Annual Battle of the Bulbs competition! We know Barry County likes to gets festive so let's see those Christmas lights! 🎄

*Bring some holiday cheer to your neighborhood by decorating the outside of either your business or home! All businesses and residences within Barry County are invited to participate in this free competition.

*Once decorated, email a picture (no videos please) to [email protected] for submission to the contest. Submissions are due by Friday, December 6.

*All photos will be posted to the Barry County Chamber page on Monday, December 9. The public will then have until Sunday, December 15 at 8PM to vote for their favorite businesses/residences by liking that photo.

Edit: Thank you to everyone that share this post. The Hastings Police Department has identified a person of interest and is working to locate the individual. Without your help we would not have been so quick with an identification. Now we just need to locate the stolen items to get the funds to the Hastings Band Boosters and put all of the donations to work supporting the kids.

We will keep you posted with further updates.

We had a great scrap drive until someone decided they wanted some of it. Please help us identify the owner of this Hummer H3 with no spare tire on the back and a red sticker in the left corner of the back glass.

Please share far and wide and make this person famous. If you have any details on the vehicle owner please contact us or the Hastings Police Department.
