Another one in the books, Customer had no oil pressure which created a spun bearing. Just wanted truck to last a couple more years, so we went woth a low mileage used engine! She's back on the road again!

Another job in the books, Customer called me for a P0420 code. They paid a substantial amount of money for a catalytic converter. After 100 Miles of driving the light came back on. They return and the shop said nothing we can do. You just have to "drive it more" she called and ask for a second opinion. Turns out the head gasket was bad and leaking coolant into the cylinder and it was creating the trouble code! I replaced the cylinder heads and called the other shop and explained how they misdiagnosed her car. They refunded the money and the light didn't return. We got one happy customer out of the deal!
