⚡️️ All-wheel drive. Tesla power. 1968 Pontiac Firebird. ⚡️

The ‘68 Firebird EV swap is coming together! Here is a status update on the build:

• Chassis Installed: The Schwartz Performance G-Machine EV chassis is fully bolted into the car.

• Dual Powertrain: Front and rear Tesla powertrains are fitted for an all-wheel-drive setup.

• Battery Capacity: Engineered to fit 16 battery modules for massive range and instant power—14 housed in the main chassis layout and 2 positioned in the front section of the trunk.

With this setup, the 0–60 time is going to be absolutely insane! 🚘🔋

We’ve got a solid California 1953 Studebaker in the shop! It has the original bright red paint with a white top, and we’re getting ready to bring it back to life with some new body panels.

We need your input on two big choices:

1️⃣ Paint Scheme: Would you keep the original two-tone look with the white top, or go all-red with a bright Ferrari or Viper Red?

2️⃣ Powertrain: What engine would you drop under the hood? Big Block, Small Block, LS, or LT?

Upgrading your suspension, or switching to a high-performance chassis (like our Schwartz Performance G-Machine chassis) allows your car to pull anywhere from 1.2 to over 1.5 Gs in the corners.

The downside? Extreme lateral force sloshes oil to one side of the pan, leading to oil starvation and potential engine failure.

Here is how to protect your engine:

• Baffled Oil Pan: Helps keep oil contained near the pickup tube during hard cornering.

• Accusump System: A cost-effective safeguard that uses air pressure and a floating piston to feed oil into the engine the moment pressure drops.

• Dry Sump System: The ultimate solution for oil management, though retrofitting one can be costly, especially on non-standard or classic engines like a Pontiac.
