Announcement concerning In house credit.
My father and I started this business 26 years ago last July. We have always offered quality parts and service along with good customer service. Included in the customer service we offered in house credit as lot of small businesses in small towns do. We have always tried to work with our in house credit customers if they were having a difficult time financially to continue to offer them quality parts and service while we worked with them through their difficult time.
Over the past couple of years we have had customers getting farther and farther behind on their accounts to the point we are going to have to make some important changes in our in house credit policy. They are as follows:
1. We will no longer open any NEW in house credit accounts.
2. If you have a in house credit account in good standing nothing will change. You will still be able to continue to charge to your account as usual. We appreciate your continued business and timely payments.
3. If you have an in house credit account with us and its 60 days or more past due it will be frozen and not allowed to charge until PAID IN FULL! NO EXCEPTIONS!
4. We now offer a service where we can privately and securely store a credit or debit card number on file for any account and invoices will be charged to the credit or debit card at point of sale. This option will be available to any existing account or any new customer that would like to set up an account.
