Not all collision repair is created equal—and when it comes to your vehicle, that’s not something you can afford to overlook.

After an accident, choosing the right repair shop isn’t just about convenience or cost—it’s about your safety. Modern vehicles are built with advanced safety systems, precise structural designs, and manufacturer-specific repair standards. If repairs aren’t done correctly, those safety features may not perform the way they’re supposed to in another accident.

Unfortunately, not every shop follows proper repair procedures. Cutting corners, using incorrect parts, or skipping critical steps can leave hidden damage that puts you and your passengers at serious risk.

Here you can see a bumper that has previously been repaired at another shop. We want to highlight that not only is this a used bumper, as it was once silver, and is now black. You can see the inner structure of the bumper has also been repaired, when it should have been replaced, and for the icing on the cake, they used improper fasteners to hold the trim. Two of the three of these items are safety concerns for the occupants of this vehicle as the vehicle has "self driving" capabilities that could be interfered with due to these prior repairs.

At our shop, we believe your vehicle should be restored to pre-accident condition—no compromises. That means using the right equipment, following manufacturer guidelines, and ensuring every repair meets the highest safety standards.

🚗✨ Big things are happening at S&S Collision of Harrison — and no, it’s not just about the Toter we’re repairing! Our shop has been buzzing, and our techs are locked in, making a heavy push to get multiple vehicles wrapped up before Thanksgiving break. We’re proud of the whole crew, but today one tech absolutely deserves the spotlight.

🔥 Larry has been an absolute ROCK STAR this week!
He’s completing FOUR quarter replacements — yes, four — and he’s handling the whole thing start to finish. Disassembly, the quarter replacement itself, AND the full reassembly all fall on his shoulders… and he’s crushing it.

We can’t serve our customers at the level we do without dedicated techs like him. So please drop a huge “Atta boy, Larry!” in the comments and help us show him the appreciation he’s earned!
