Harrison Goblins Win 5A West Golf Conference Title in Thrilling Playoff

Harrison, AR – September 23, 2025 – The Harrison Goblins boys' golf team claimed the 5A West Conference title today after a dramatic playoff victory over the Russellville Cyclones at Eagle Crest Golf Course. Both teams finished the regulation 18 holes tied with a team score of 304, forcing a sudden-death playoff.

The Goblins, who led throughout the day, faced a late surge from Russellville. The teams' matching scores set the stage for a tense showdown on the par-4 first hole. Harrison chose brothers Berkley Knapp and Brody Knapp to represent them in the playoff.

The pair delivered under pressure. Junior Berkley Knapp birdied his playoff hole, while his younger brother, freshman Brody Knapp, chipped in for a crucial par to secure the victory for Harrison.

Berkley Knapp led the team's individual scores with a 1-under 70. Brody Knapp's strong round of 74 also contributed significantly to the team's winning score. Other key performances included Isaac Freeman (76), Jack Magness (84), and Keeton Carter (85).

In recognition of their outstanding performances, Berkley Knapp, Brody Knapp, and Isaac Freeman were all named to the All-Conference team.
