I'm seeing a lot of Facebook posts about disabled boats in need of help on the water. We have four boats currently still on the lake, three on Chickamauga and one on Watts Bar.

Free service for TowBoatUS members, hourly rate service for non-members. If you happen to let your friends or family leave the dock without a TowBoatUS membership you'll need to at least send them our phone number. There's no reason to be stranded on the lake.

Before you leave the dock, make sure you are physically or financially able to get back home something doesn't go as planned.

Keep an eye out for floating (partially, in this case) debris this weekend. We're starting to see some current moving downriver now, and that will start moving debris. Just keep a lookout at the water ahead, like you always do and you'll be fine!

This monstrous tree was across from Shady Grove Harbor, Inc earlier this week. Safely relocated from the creek channel to a nearby cove to rest in peace.
