Jackson Macenko has a rare off weekend from his busy schedule with the 500 Sprint Car Tour and his part-time duties in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, so we figured we’d put him to work!

This weekend, Jackson will pilot the #2 Formula First for Westerfeld Enterprises at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

Bill and Justin helped Jackson get his start in karting many moons ago, so it’s pretty cool to see things come full circle and have him back behind the wheel with us.

We’re looking forward to a fun weekend and watching Jack find out what a VW-powered formula car is all about! 🏁

10 years ago this week we were grand national race champion and the 2015 national champion of the Unlimited Allstars. 3 of the top 5 finishers in the race were WE powered karts. Justin was Champ with the 500cc Jawa and James Conway and Joe Warning both finished in the top 5 with 450 Hondas with our jackshaft conversion.

Really close to wrapping up the new IRS suspension. Really happy with how everything is dialing in. Hope to have it on the track this weekend. Thanks to Bradley Buenting for all the advice, design consultation and some of the parts to get it going.
