We Lost a great friend and auto enthusiast. His passion for the hobby showed in everything he touched. His orange 69’s were always attention getters everywhere he went.

“Cheryl has asked to have a large muscle/classic car procession with Larry to his resting place. Let’s pull it together for her and the kids.”

The funeral will be Sunday with final arraignments yet to be made. I will post when announced.

Well we lost a good friend and clubmember. Reggie Blades passed away 2am Wednesday morning. He battled that terrible disease ALS for two years with all he had. Reggie started the Shawnee Cruisers club at the high school many years ago loving to work with the younger set.

Looks as the DQ cruise will be resuming on this Thursday May 13th if the weather allows it.
Have spoken with management and they have OK’d the use of the outside seating facilities.
They did say that all business/orders will be available in the drive-thru only. The lobby is still closed.
We very much appreciate the Watsons for allowing us to hold our event here every Thursday.

It looks like the weather might cooperate enough this Thursday evening to have our first official DQ cruise. If possible we will try to have a short Club meeting there to discuss a few club related things as needed.
The DQ's lobby is still closed so remember to use the drive thru for your orders. Attempt as best to social distance. Also for those of you that didn't know, the Harrisburg DQ is in the process of changing hands. The Watson family, which has owned and run this location for most its life is passing the cone. Our local business owner Julie Kuppart is to be the lucky new owner.
We thank the Watsons for their contribution to Harrisburg, for the jobs they have provided along with all the support that have given to the community. We also welcome Julie in her new role as owner and know that she will continue the tradition.
